Logan, UT — The Cache Valley Civic Ballet board of directors is pleased to announce the promotion of Jaime Howell Lindley to Associate Artistic Director as the organization enters its 41st performing year. Sandra Emile will continue to lead the locally renowned Company as Founding Artistic Director.
The Cache Valley Civic Ballet was established in 1982 by Emile, an American Ballet Theatre-trained dancer. Last year the organization celebrated its 40th year with a sold-out Nutcracker season.
“I am honored to have Jaime join me in this leadership position,” Emile said. “She has been at my side since the inception of this organization and not only has the attributes of a seasoned dancer, director, instructor, and leader but also sees the vision of the Cache Valley Civic Ballet, which has always been to provide qualified ballet training and performance opportunities to dancers in Northern Utah. Her love for the art of ballet, our dancers, and this community will support her in this position.”
Lindley is an original member of the Cache Valley Civic Ballet. She studied with Joan Vendell, Sandra Emile, Maggi Moar, Burch Mann, and Marsha Fay Knight.
